Has anybody ever told you, “this must be your lucky day?”
To be honest, I feel like the past year or so has been off the charts. We’ve seen 2Words blow up in ways that we never thought possible.
I won’t deny that I’ve been blessed, or that I’ve had breaks in my life, but I don’t buy for a second that I’ve just “been in the right place at the right time.”
The more work you put in the more you’ll get out. The more doors that you build in life, the more opportunity will knock.
What most people dismiss as out of their control is something that can be reverse engineered.
I look at what has happened with 2Words over the last 18 months and it is overwhelmingly obvious to me that the people that I have surrounded myself with are working their tails off and are the luckiest people in the world.
Take time to celebrate your wins. Even if they’re small wins. Because most people spend the next day being the same or worse as the previous day. Think about it. People end up more sick, more in debt, more stressed, and more depressed.
So this coming week, find something that you’ve worked hard for and celebrate it. Make a big deal of it. Even if it’s only a small thing.
Because even a small victory is still a victory.
“The harder I work, the luckier I get.” Gary Player
“Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.” Seneca
